The summer can provide a refreshing change of pace as a college student. You don’t have an 8 AM class to get up for, chapter meetings and events to plan or attend, or busy schedules to manage.
Do all the things! That’s how we often approach life - balancing classes, internships, being on a million exec. teams, hanging out with friends, and finding time to do laundry.
I love long, slow summer days. Hot days mean eating watermelon outside, swimming in the lake or laying by the pool, and reading a book while watching summer thunderstorms roll through town. At least at our house, hot days gives us a chance to relax a little bit, which is a different pace from our normal hectic lives.
