READ JOHN 6:66-69
66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”
CONSIDER THESE QUESTIONS
1) What made Simon Peter so sure that Jesus was the best option for his life? (Hint: If you don't know much about Simon Peter, you may need to read the previous chapters in John.)
2) Are there spaces in your life where you aren’t entirely sure that following Jesus is the best option?
CLOSING REFLECTION
Lord, I want to have the same conviction Peter does, that you are the best place for me to go and everything else will only leave me empty. Please change my heart, even in the places that I don’t know need changing.
