I am a huge fan of TV, NPR, and trivia. What that means is that I have an extensive knowledge of things that are fairly useless but come in handy at awkward social situations.
We identify ourselves and others with many different labels. Where are you from? What school do you attend? Which sorority or fraternity are you in? The answers to these questions communicate a different story to people about who we are and what we believe. These labels can also come with baggage.
On my campus, when we talk about ministry, we talk about everyone getting an invitation to know who Jesus is. We don't want anyone to get left out, because it's happened to all of us.
