Back in April we got to know Lauren, a Chi Omega from the University of Rhode Island. Lauren has played a key role in helping to launch ministry in the Greek system at URI and Greek Conference played a big part in catalyzing her desire to see ministry grow. Recently, she was featured in a video put together by InterVarsity New England that highlights some more of what's going on within her chapter and on campus at URI.
To help launch ministry within Chi Omega, Lauren used InterVarsity's Start Something New guide which helps walk college students through how to start ministry wherever they are at. Paula Frances Price, on staff with Greek InterVarsity at the University of Georgia, recently wrote a helpful post about planting ministry that could be helpful to read if you are thinking of launching something in your fraternity or sorority next semester.
